Tea Industry Committee of CAPIAC pay a visit to the Embassy of Kenya in Beijing

On March 24th, Ms Rita Tang, the Director for Foreign Affairs of Tea Industry Committee of China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation visited the Kenya Embassy in China and exchanged with Mr. Edwin Limo, the Counsellor of the Kenya Embassy in China. 
In the meeting, Counsellor Edwin Limo highly praised the The International Tea Party of Young People between China & Kenya held on October 25 of 2020 at Beijing Maliandao tea street, which has made important contributions to promoting the exchange of tea culture between the two countries, especially in promoting the love, inheritance and development of tea culture among the young people of the two countries. Director Rita Tang thanked the Kenyan Embassy in China for its support for the work of the Tea Industry Committee and said that in recent years the Tea Industry Committee has deepened the exchanges and cooperation with the Kenyan tea industry and established good relationship with the tea organizations of Kenya. 

At the end of the meeting, Director Rita Tang sincerely invited the Kenyan Embassy in China to attend the 13th China (Beijing) International Tea and Tea Ceremony Exhibition hold at the Beijing National Agricultural Exhibition Center from April 23rd to 26th. Counsellor Edwin Limo said that affected by the COVID-19, Kenyan tea enterprises are unable to come to China to make a propaganda. The embassy will participate in the opening ceremony and also will strengthen the exchange and cooperation with Tea Indsutry Committee in the future.
